Spa City Local Farm Market Co-op:  The market is open for ordering

Good Morning Everyone!!!
The Spa City Co-op market is now open for ordering at spacity.locallygrown.net. Please place your orders before Tuesday at 9 pm, and plan to pick up your orders at Emergent Arts on Friday June 26th from 3:30 – 5:30, preferably before 5 pm.

Don’t forget – this market has no paid positions, so we NEED VOLUNTEERS to run every market. It’s fun, you get a $5 gift card, and you learn so much about local foods in Arkansas.

Martin's Farmstand:  strawberries

I walked the strawberry fields just now. There are only a few berries ready and big areas with nothing ripe. However, I do see a a lot of little berries that appear to be sizing nicely. These are 10 days -2 weeks off yet though and are from the later opening flowers. I am hopeful that they may amount to something.

We will open for u-pick tommorrow morning at 7 am. Do not expect to get more than a few quarts for fresh eating. What should be ready now was mostly lost due to the frost. The picking will remain bad through next week. We will not open for u-pick Monday. The next picking is Wednesday, June 24 at 2 pm. Daniel

DeForest, WI:  Farm Stand has STRAWBERRIES!

*Farmer Rich brought over some more strawberries, and the crew at Forest Run found broccoli, snap and snow peas today. Forest Run is also offering their plants 2 for the price of one the more you buy, the better it gets.

Please plan to get to the farm stand so we can close up at 6!

Hope to see ya!
