Please keep Ricky Brown of Back River Farm in your prayers. He had surgery today and prayers are needed (and appreciated) for his swift and complete recovery.

Also, please keep Surata Wood and her daughter Zakira in your prayers. Surata is Sarah’s helper at and great supporter of the Hamilton Mill Market. On her way back home to Comer after Market today, she hit a cow and totaled her SUV. Although she and her daughter are doing well, prayers always help.

Champaign, OH:  Scarlet Begonias

The sky was yellow and the sun was blue…(Scarlet Begonias-Grateful Dead)

Good evening, little market of love customers!! Hoping that this finds you happy, ready for the weekend, and finding your kind tide…your mellow place…your Lovelight…

Lots of groovy phrases to say that your market manager will be checkin’ out for the night, tomorrow night, to truck to Columbus, for the Dead and Company show. So ready to catch the vibes…so ready to revisit a real show with the core members.

While I am planning the perfect twirling ensemble, baking bread, working my magic, and seeking out Shakedown Street, the parking lot scene, and ultimately, the show, I want you all to be thinking about what you may need from the market, this week…start making your holiday list of food needs. We’ve got it all, just for you, just to make your life easy in this upcoming busy weeks.

Get groovy with your orders…I love seeing the love that pours in…

Peace, Love, Good Vibes…

Republican Valley Produce:  We didn't blow away!

Hello,

The market is open.

With all the wind yesterday, I am happy to report we didn’t blow away. We had a few minor things to fix, but nothing out of the ordinary. I am glad it calmed down Wednesday night.

We are planning deliveries to Clay Center on Tuesday November 17th and we will deliver to Manhattan at the Winter Farmers Market on November 21st.

Just an FYI, here is the delivery schedule for the rest of November and the first week of December.

Clay Center deliveries: November 17, 24 and December 1st

Manhattan Deliveries, November 21(winter market), 25th and December December 5th(winter market).

This will be the last week for tomatoes.

We have lots of wonderful produce and hope you can find something that you like.

Gwinnett Locally Grown:  The market is NOW OPEN!

The market’s open until Monday at noon! Click here to order now!

Beef. It’s what’s for dinner.

Our beef is supplied by Wagon Wheel Ranch.

From the farmer:
“I grow grass fed, grass finished, hormone free, antibiotic free, Black Angus cross beef available as a whole cow delivered to the processor or as individual cuts that are vacuum packed and flash frozen. Our farm and processor is Animal Welfare Approved; we are inspected and audited yearly as members of the American Grassfed Association.
We love our cows and treat them humanely with respect and kindness. We cross purebred Santa Gertrudis cows (good mothers) with a purebred Hereford bull (gentle disposition & high yield carcass); their daughters (healthy, gentle, good mothers) are bred to a purebred Black Angus bull (tender quality meat cuts). The resulting calves are the ones we sell to you! This cross breeding system makes the cows and calves healthier and disease resistant. Our Black Angus bull was DNA tested for tenderness, ribeye size and 10 other genetic traits.
We use a sustainable pasture rotation system with natural shade and fresh water available at all times. High quality free choice hay or grass silage is fed during winter or drought conditions.”

We also have SUPER fun and informative workshops available, so don’t miss out!

The Market is open Thursday at 9am – Monday at noon.
After Monday at noon, ordering is disabled until Thursday morning.
Pick up your order Tuesday from 4-7pm only at Rancho Alegre Farm at 2225 Givens Road, Dacula, GA 30019. New to The Market?

UPDATE CONTACT With all the hustle and bustle of back-to-school and new routines, it’s easy to forget things like picking up your TCH order. Remember that we can’t keep your items past 12pm, and we’ll try contacting you any way we know how to make sure you get what you ordered. Now’s a great time to check the phone number on your account to make sure it’s a number I can reach you at 11:45am on a Saturday. I start calling everyone who hasn’t picked up yet then, and will keep trying to reach you until 12pm, when we have to pack it all up. I hate seeing people’s food go somewhere else, and having a good phone number on your account is the best way to keep that from happening.

Main Market Location and Pick Up
Building 106, Colony Park Dr. in the Basement of Suite 100, Cumming, GA 30040. Pick up every Saturday between 10-12pm.
